About
We are hiring a Receiving Clerk in the dynamic San Francisco, California area! If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a vital part of the logistics chain, this role is perfect for you. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for verifying, inspecting, and documenting all goods that arrive at our facility. Your diligence ensures the accuracy of our inventory and the integrity of our supply chain. This position requires organization and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document all incoming inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to management.
- Organize and stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety procedures and use of required PPE.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Support overall warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a warehouse role preferred.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and understanding of warehouse protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
