We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is vital for maintaining the operational integrity and **Safety** of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all warehouse machinery operates efficiently. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, **Logistics** equipment, and a commitment to preventative maintenance is key. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to upholding high standards of workplace **Safety** and efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with **Safety** regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and operational disruptions.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all **Lifting** devices and mechanisms are functioning correctly and safely.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and **Logistics** of the warehouse by minimizing downtime.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with **Logistics** equipment and warehouse operations.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of **Safety** procedures and best practices for equipment maintenance.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working in various conditions.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Commitment to wearing **PPE** and following **Safety** protocols rigorously.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
