Flooring Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our flooring team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate flooring take offs are conducted, flooring knowledge is presented and successful project execution. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for flooring projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, and changes throughout the bidding process.
• Assist in project management tasks by providing job sheets/scope of work.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product fluctuations, and new estimating tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating flooring or a related role within the construction industry.
• An understanding of all flooring products and applications.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes, including project management principles.
• Ability to interpret complex project plans, specifications, and technical documents effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all flooring take offs. This position is ideal for professionals committed to precision in estimating practices who thrive in collaborative environments focused on delivering quality construction projects efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
