Surgical Technician – Surgery General at Providence summary: The Surgical Technician supports surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting surgeons and nurses, and handling surgical instruments and specimens. This role requires certification as a Surgical Technologist and basic life support (BLS) training, with preference for operating room experience. The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assists surgeon as necessary, assists circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintains familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments.
