Job Summary:
We are currently seeking passionate, reliable, and nurturing Early Childhood Educators to join our team in both full-time and casual roles. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring the health and safety of children, and working closely with staff, children, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, holistic activities that foster growth across all learning domains.
- Support and promote children's independence, self-help skills, and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and co-workers.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including performing light cleaning duties.
- Work collaboratively with other educators to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Follow centre policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards one).
- Current certification in First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in a childcare setting is an asset.
