About

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hourly Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and assist the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality food, consistency, and service. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations


  • Supervise and lead BOH staff during service


  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met


  • Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen staff


  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance


  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control


  • Step in to lead shifts and manage service execution as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor preferred


  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Can speak/ understand English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and BOH operations


  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed


  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
