Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator? We are looking for skilled individuals to join our bustling warehouse in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods throughout our facility, supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport inventory. If you have a strong safety record and enjoy a hands-on role, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Transport materials and products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and retrieving items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Engage in tasks requiring significant Lifting and physical movement when not operating equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
