We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates for our growing facility in Portland, Oregon. This vital role is at the heart of our supply chain, ensuring the efficient processing and management of goods within our distribution hub. As a DC Associate, you will engage in a spectrum of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Your role is indispensable in guaranteeing that our products are handled correctly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and assemble customer orders according to specifications.
- Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Stage outgoing shipments and coordinate with transportation partners.
- Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels on the warehouse floor.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training available).
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Utilize required PPE correctly and consistently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and general logistics principles is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
