Job Summary:
Join our bustling San Francisco, California warehouse as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This multifaceted role is critical to our operations, involving both the inbound and outbound flow of goods. You will manage the receiving process, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately accounted for and stored, as well as oversee the shipping process, preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring timely delivery. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle diverse tasks efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring all shipments meet quality and Safety standards. Your contribution will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the demanding world of Logistics .
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming shipments, verifying contents and identifying discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
  • Ensure all products are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.
  • Uphold stringent Safety protocols and the correct usage of all required PPE .
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
  • Assist in other warehouse operations as needed to support our Logistics team.
Qualifications:
Experience in both shipping and receiving functions is preferred. Must be capable of continuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklift certification is a plus). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to all PPE requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role in the fast-paced Logistics industry.
