We are seeking a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, ensuring that products are managed efficiently from receipt to dispatch. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will undertake a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, picking and packing orders, stocking inventory, and preparing shipments for delivery. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are vital for maintaining inventory integrity and customer satisfaction. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to follow strict safety protocols and properly use all required PPE. This position requires physical stamina, involving regular movement and the ability to perform significant Lifting of items, typically up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Support overall Logistics operations through efficient task completion.
- Report any safety concerns or operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing/walking.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety principles and the importance of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work standards.
