As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as trained (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Perform tasks requiring lifting of items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Support the broader logistics functions of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
