About

* Demonstrated experience managing enterprise VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere Update Manager, with expert-level proficiency in virtual machine deployment, migration, and high availability configurations.* Proven track record of administering Windows and Linux server operating systems in a hybrid physical and virtual infrastructure, including patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across multiple server generations.* Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Storage Area Networks (SANs) and iSCSI networking solutions in a healthcare or similarly complex environment, with measurable outcomes in uptime and data integrity.* Advanced proficiency in Active Directory administration, including user and group management, Group Policy configuration, and integration with enterprise applications and services.* Documented success implementing secure server environments in compliance with state or federal IT security standards, including vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and audit preparation.* Ability to work (standing or sitting) at a computer console for long periods of time.* Ability to work in an MDF, IDF or various locations where IT equipment is housed across multiple locations.* Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.The State of North Carolina offers excellent comprehensive benefits.
