About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is vital for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to operational procedures are essential. Your expertise will directly contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and load materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring correct placement of goods and secure transport.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory status.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including order picking and stocking when necessary.
- Ensure that all operations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when manually handling items.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification is required. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all Safety regulations is paramount. Prior experience in Logistics is highly desirable.
