ResponsibilitiesOperations
Lead ordering, inventory management, and prep planning
Forecast production needs and align with cooks
Coordinate with front-of-house on inventory and daily operations
Service
Direct griddle and fryer stations during service
Ensure mise en place, setup/breakdown, and execution meet standards
Manage tickets and maintain clear communication across the line while leading expo
Uphold cleanliness, consistency, and food safety
Leadership
Partner with Chef de Cuisine on daily operations
Delegate tasks effectively and mentor team members
Model professionalism and accountability in a fast-paced kitchen
Requirements
Technical Fundamentals
Proven ability as both line and prep cook; consistent execution under pressure
Skilled in organizing and delegating staff meals (~30 people)
Precision in following SOPs, recipes, and instructions
Communication & Leadership
Advanced communication skills: clear delegation, ticket management, and digital fluency (Slack, google tools, kitchen systems)
Strong leadership mindset motivates peers, builds team culture, and makes confident decisions
Adaptability and willingness to step outside comfort zones for growth
Commitment
Genuine curiosity and passion for food and flavor
Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday required)
- Able to help cover when needed for special events and short staffing
