Kitchen Operations Manager

The Sous Chef is a pivotal role in the kitchen, playing a key part in ensuring seamless daily operations. This position requires expert supervision of staff, meticulous maintenance of food quality and presentation, and strict adherence to hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef on daily menus, recipes, and inventory control
  • Supervising and leading the kitchen brigade when needed, fostering a positive team environment
  • Ensuring dishes are prepared according to established culinary standards
  • Mentoring, training, and motivating kitchen staff to achieve high performance levels
  • Monitoring kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as necessary
  • Maintaining proper sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols

Requirements for this position include:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or similar role
  • Advanced culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
