Job Title: Culinary Operations Leader

About this Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced culinary professional to lead our kitchen team. As a Culinary Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen shifts, including food prep, cooking, inventory management, and supervising staff.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, participate in line checks, temp checks, and food tastings.
  • Purchase and order food products and supplies for the restaurant.
  • Track and control food costs, ensuring profitability.
  • Communicate effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house teams regarding food production and timing issues.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a sous chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and their application in a kitchen setting.
  • Proficiency in computer software related to inventory and financial management.
