Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Culinary Art Director to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about shaping a unique dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Lead and manage kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Menu Development: Design innovative menus that showcase Japanese flavors and techniques, while appealing to diverse tastes.
- Team Management: Foster a positive team culture, encouraging open communication and continuous learning.
- Quality Control: Maintain high culinary standards, ensuring dishes meet quality expectations.
- Food Safety: Ensure adherence to health codes and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- 2+ years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a contemporary or pop-up setting.
- Comfortable working with Japanese ingredients and techniques, or eagerness to learn.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with ability to work independently.
- Aesthetic sense and presentation skills, with creativity and attention to visual detail.
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Respect for health codes and organizational abilities.
