Produce Team Associate

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated team member to join our produce team.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assist the team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitor and prevent spoilage, communicating waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisors.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
