Job Title: Event Operations Manager

As the Event Operations Manager, you will oversee the management of event venues to ensure seamless execution. This role involves supervising a team of stewards, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained, and conducting regular inspections to guarantee cleanliness and safety standards are met.

  • Supervise stewarding personnel and provide guidance on best practices for managing events.
  • Inspect event venues to ensure they meet safety and cleanliness standards, including compliance with NYC Health Department requirements and CDC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory management for china, glass, and silver items, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with vendors to manage the flow of activity in the kitchen, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of experience in hospitality or a related field, preferably in supervisory roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • NYC Food Handlers Certification or related food safety training is an asset.
