About
Vermont Sports Medicine Center is seeking an outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing practices in Rutland, Brandon, Castleton, and Killington, Vermont, near the Killington Mountain ski area. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who values an environment that allows for one-on-one direct care. Our practice offers a collegial working environment with a group of dynamic, skilled therapists and low productivity requirements, allowing our clinicians to spend quality time with their patients. Our practices are located in central Vermont, close to lakes and mountains for outdoor recreational activities, and only 3 hours from Boston and Montreal. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package with profit sharing above and beyond base compensation. New grads assigned a mentor.
Orthopedic Physical Therapist Responsibilities
* Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services to patients.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
* Utilize functional training and clinical manual skills in patient care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
Orthopedic Physical Therapist Skills/Requirements
* Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
* Vermont Physical Therapy License required.
* Interest in professional development in the areas of functional training and clinical manual skills.
* Skill sets in Womenβs Health, Functional Capacity Evaluation, and Vestibular Rehabilitation are a plus but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* New graduates and experienced PTs are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $77,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
