*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
* Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
* Provide hands-on therapy sessions focusing on pain relief, injury rehabilitation, and functional improvement.
* Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings.
* Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery.
* Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including progress notes and treatment plans.
* Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices by engaging in continuous professional development.
*Qualifications*
* Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.
* Experience working in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques such as trigger point therapy.
* Familiarity with documentation and patient management.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
