The successful applicant will provide research support for a project involving analyzing data from the first phase of research (a world building project in an early childhood setting); co-writing research results and preparing presentations/publications; co-constructing a toolkit to be utilized in phase two of the research.
Duties may include:
- Team meetings with faculty researchers
- Writing literature reviews/co-writing research results
- Data entry and analysis
- Toolkit co-design based on phase 1 data
- Formatting manuscripts
- Amendments to ethics dependent on phase 2 research plan (TBD)
Position Requirements
Applicants are required to be a full-time graduate student in Education and have experience:
- writing literature reviews and otherwise preparing academic presentations/publications
- conducting research in early childhood contexts, including familiarity with the field of early childhood and/or literacy
- conducting qualitative analysis of data
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
It is expected the student will work for up to 9 hours of work per week for 13 weeks (depending on the availability of work).
