About

We are looking for Drivers with:

· Valid Class 1 drivers license

· Min 3yrs experience in Heavy Haul Division.

· Experience in RGN Double drop trailers and Step deck trailer with ramps.

· Hauling heavy equipment and Over Dimensional loads.

· Clean drivers abstract.

· Experience in oversize, overweight loads, and permits.

· Open and strong communication with the team dispatch, drivers and customers.

· Adhere to all company policies.

· Ability to plan, execute routing and reading permits.

· Comply with all transportation laws and regulations. federal and provincial.

· Experience with working and communicating with Pilot/Escort trucks.

· Work effectively with minimal supervision.

· Maintain a clean truck and trailer.

· Knowledge of Canada, USA routes/lanes.

English speaking and writing is a MUST

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances.
  • Transport freight to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Handle loading and unloading of freight, including operating forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A CDL license.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in freight handling and logistics management is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is advantageous.
  • Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
