Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for the battery product line – 10Y view. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market shifts to guide innovation and portfolio expansion. Build organizational capabilities in product management, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle across multiple product families, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. Prioritize product investments and resource allocation based on ROI, market potential, and strategic fit.
  • Market & Customer Engagement: Serve as a senior point of contact for key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings to promote thought leadership and product vision.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure successful product development, launch, and commercialization. Drive alignment across functions to ensure timely delivery, quality, and profitability of the product line.
  • Financial & Business Ownership: Own the P&L for the Battery product line across all OEM accounts, including revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization. Develop business cases for new product initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, business development, or P&L ownership within the automotive, energy storage, or electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing long-term product strategies and managing complex product portfolios.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, ROI analysis, and margin optimization.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in energy storage and power management.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with experience engaging key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Track record of strategic thinking and operational execution, with the ability to balance innovation with business performance.
  • Global mindset with experience working in multi-region or matrixed organizations preferred.
  • English language on a fluent level, German language is nice to have.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the working time.
