*Reports to*: Clinical Director
*Position Type:* Full or Part Time, Hourly or Salary (negotiable)
*Start Date:* August 2023
*Availability Required*: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
*Qualifications Requirement:*
* Masters of Speech Language Pathology
* Certificate of Clinical Competency OR eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
* Current Michigan SLP Licensure
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatrics and with those who have special needs is preferred
* Willingness to work in a collaborative team setting
* Candidates who are currently credentialed with major insurance companies is preferred, including Medicaid/Medicare
*Other Requirements:*
* Successful completion of criminal history background check and drug testing
* Willingness to lead summer speech and language groups as well as summer speech and language camps
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with other professionals (i.e., OTs, PTs, BCBAs, etc.).
* Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Bluestone Children's Center is located in Livonia, Michigan and offers ABA therapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Bluestone is a family centered facility and is designed for children ages 2-12 with varying diagnoses. Currently, Bluestone offers a multidisciplinary approach to therapy including the collaboration between SLPs, OTs, BCBAs, and PTs. The center offers two gyms, a mini movie theater, a playroom, a haircut hut, a mock dental office, and several other unique spaces to conduct therapy in a play based and functional environment!
The Bluestone Speech and Language Department is seeking a part-time speech language pathologist who has experience working with young children of varying ages and disorders including but not limited to Autism, congenital disorders, mixed expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, Apraxia of Speech, swallowing disorders, stuttering, etc. We are seeking a part-time SLP with availability Monday through Friday and between the times of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
