About
Iron Point Physical Therapy is looking for Physical Therapists for our state of the art outpatient facility in Folsom, CA. As a member of our team of therapists, you can make an impact in patients' lives by providing functional rehabilitation care.
We are looking for a licensed physical therapist with skill in evaluating and treating orthopedic/sports as well as neurological patients in an outpatient setting. Our state of the art facility has the capability to provide safe care to patients’ status post CVA, TBI and SCI with our ZeroG Gait and Balance System. This robotic body weight support system safely allows walking overground, functional activities, balance and fall prevention training in a “reduced gravity” environment. When using ZeroG, walking, getting off the floor, sit to stand, stairs and other activities of daily living are performed without the risk of falling. This is a safe adjunct in cooperation with other interventions needed for this patient population.

Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient therapy services to patients in our state of the art facility
- Conduct assessments and develop ongoing individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience working as an outpatient therapist is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in providing acute care therapy services
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques
Skills:
- Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills.. Excellent Manual therapy and assessment skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Requirements:
- Valid license or certification as a physical therapist in CA
- Completion of relevant education and training programs
- Current knowledge of industry best practices and evidence-based treatment approaches
-Strong Understanding of anatomy and bio-mechanics
