About
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, and possess a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. This role requires excellent patient service skills, as you will be responsible for assessing patients’ needs and providing tailored treatments to promote pain management and overall wellness.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques for individual needs.
* Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
* Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care techniques for pain management.
* Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the treatment area.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care in an occupational health setting or med spa environment.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
*Requirements*
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
* Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and treatment options.
* Experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
* Ability to create a calming and therapeutic environment for clients during treatments.
