Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SIP/VoIP Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Asterisk, FreePBX, and Kamailio, and be capable of providing exceptional support to our wholesale customers as well as leading the technical aspects of our new SIP platform project.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide day-to-day support to wholesale customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Act as the technical lead on the development and implementation of a new SIP platform (Asterisk, Kamillio)

- Design, test, and deploy robust VoIP solutions.

- Manage and resolve complex technical issues related to VoIP infrastructure.

- Facilitate communication and integration between systems to connect with various interconnect partners.

- Work closely with project management teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and network designs.

Requirements

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a SIP/VoIP engineer with strong technical knowledge of Asterisk, FreePBX, and Kamailio.

- Experience with SMS and SMS software such as e.g. JASMIN is a huge advantage 

- Excellent knowledge of APIs and system integration, especially for communicating with different interconnect partners—a significant plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in a secondary language such as Spanish, German, or French is a plus.

- Experience with project management software and a strong organizational skill set.

- Understanding the importance of detailed and accurate documentation.

- Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
