Job Summary

MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.

Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing, developing, and testing sophisticated software.
2. Developing and improving MathWorks’ highly automated build and test system.
3. Creating command-line and web-based tools that support automation in MathWorks’ development process.
4. Collaborating with teams from Engineering, Testing I&A, and Release Engineering to debug and analyze problems.
5. Collecting requirements and providing solutions across various software components and team boundaries.
6. Designing and developing a suite of client applications and web services for building and testing MathWorks software.
7. Gathering, assimilating, analyzing, and understanding user requirements to enhance the efficiency of MathWorks developers.
8. Synthesizing complex concepts and developing working models.
9. Participating in cross-functional teams to evolve and enhance software development tools.
10. Implementing, testing, documenting, deploying, evaluating, and enhancing development tools.
11. Automating and evolving processes and procedures.
12. Training and educating users.
