Angst-Pfister is rapidly expanding its new US entity and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Application Engineer (SAE) to join our dynamic Sales Team. The SAE must increase sales through growing existing customer accounts along with a large focus on increasing our current business partnerships as well as creating new business relationships at accounts.
We want you to become a Trusted Advisor to your key customers. This is a remote position based in the United States. Candidates must be able to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone. YOUR MISSION You will… Generate and develop new business with new customers in your designated territory. Be responsible for the key account management of our large existing customers. Win new customers for our sensor product portfolio in industrial, medical, and transportation markets. Launch new products in close coordination with our product management and product development teams. Maintain direct customer contact and relationship management. Provide technical support to our customers and understand the applications and requirements of sensors. YOUR PROFILE You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics. Alternatively, you have years of successful experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor industry. You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry. You have expertise selling pressure or flow sensors (or sensor components). You are enthusiastic about independent, technical, and success-oriented work in harmony with our corporate culture. Experience with sales tracking software. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to overcome commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.
