We are seeking a detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
to join a growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, including:
Cash Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Prepaid Expenses Fixed Assets Inventory Accruals Intercompany Accounts
Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances. Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting. Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Support process improvements and special projects to enhance accounting operations. Partner with teams across multiple departments to ensure accurate financial information. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 2+ years of accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close activities. Advanced attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP or accounting software systems is a plus. Preferred Skills
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying issues and solutions. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information. Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally between company locations. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion. Flexibility to work additional hours during month-end close and reporting periods as needed. Benefits

Pay Details:
$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
