Role Description The Warehouse/Counter Sales role is a full-time, on‑site position based in Jacksonville, TX. This role includes receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming materials, packing and preparing orders for shipment or customer pickup, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The team member will operate basic warehouse equipment, assist with general warehouse housekeeping, and ensure orders are processed efficiently and safely. At the sales counter, the role involves greeting customers, assisting with product selection, processing orders and returns, and providing knowledgeable, timely service. The position requires regular collaboration with warehouse and sales staff to support customer needs and smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving and Unloading to manage incoming and outgoing materials efficiently.
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and basic Inventory Control to prepare accurate orders and maintain stock levels.
Candidates should possess skills in operating a Pallet Jack and handling materials safely in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and move materials safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
Strong customer service, basic computer skills, and clear communication for counter sales and order processing.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork; prior warehouse or counter sales experience is beneficial.
