JOB TITLE
Quality Assurance Improvement
WHAT YOU WILL DO • Develop, update, and maintain detailed reports for accurate communication of field quality status (Before sales, 3M, 12M, 36M, WM, CPU, and DPU) for management. • Respond promptly to data requests from supporting departments and cross-functional teams to expedite quality improvement activities. • Inform the responsible Improvement Specialist & AM of emerging quality issues based on detailed warranty claim analysis and follow-up on improvement. • Coordinate and update improvement database to document improvement activities, implementation dates, and current status of quality issues. • Analyze field claim data & recall/campaign issue and make necessary input/actions. • Review warranty field claims for correct processing, request changes as necessary. • Make EWR (Early Warning Report) for launched models to report and share to HMGMA. • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Required: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Science, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred
Preferred: • 0-5 years of job related experience preferred • 1-3 years job related experience in automotive industry desired

Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.
Physical Demands While in Office: This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods. Responsibilities may include: • Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 pounds) • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents • Ability to sit, stand, and walk within the office environment as needed When in Production Area (if applicable): • Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended durations • Repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials and products (up to 25-30 pounds) • Manual dexterity for handling power tools, machinery, or production equipment • Working in environments that may be noisy, hot, or require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to climb ladders or stairs and operate equipment safely and effectively • Capability to learn and work on multiple production processes, as required • Adequate visual and auditory abilities to identify safety hazards and communicate clearly • Consistent and punctual attendance • Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a team-oriented environment • FLSA Classification: Exempt/Salary • When submitting a resume for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia.
