In this role, you will be directly responsible for acquiring new customers, and for the preservation and expansion of our current customer base. This isn't a wait-and-see position, this is a make-it-happen role! Not for the casual salesperson, rather for those who take great pride in being the best at what they do!
The ideal candidate will have experience and success selling commercial print solutions. You know how to sell! You enjoy sales, and you are internally driven for success. You create and accomplish goals. You find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust.
We provide a base salary and commission structure, meaning you can generate the income you desire to achieve.
In addition, in this role, you get to work with a talented team and a proven process that eliminates chaos and allows you to focus on what you do bestselling quality products and services. This role involves working autonomously, growing sales, and creating and engaging in meaningful conversations. It is an outside sales position with a day or two inside to ensure collaboration is part of the equation.
Responsibilities:- To build a book of business - first year $500k - $1m.
- Researching and calling on prospective customers.
- Create new relationships that result in sales.
- Service existing accounts.
- Create sales, new business, and existing accounts.
- Present, sell, and provide print, promo, and signage solutions to new and existing customers.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Present products to prospective clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers' dedication.
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs.
- Respond to and resolve issues to ensure customers are cared for and for the preservation of the company's reputation.
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
- Motivation - to create results.
- Pride and work ethic - you work hard to do the job, it matters to you.
- 2 years of proven sales experience (print, pop, label, signage industry preferred).
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- MS Office, CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- You are solution-driven - there are always solutions.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about finding solutions for all clients.
- You have grit - you aren't easily discouraged. No is just a way to get to the next yes!
- You keep your word to customers. You care and support their success.
- You keep your commitment to your position and create results!
- And most importantly - sales is what you do!
