GlossGenius is seeking a Staff Data Analyst, Marketing to set the analytical vision and elevate the impact of our Go-to-Market team. You will partner closely with the VP of Growth Marketing to own and evolve our marketing measurement strategy, lead a team of marketing analysts, and drive the overall efficiency of our growth initiatives. In addition to executing high-quality analysis, you will define frameworks, establish best practices, and multiply the impact of the analysts around you.
Responsibilities
Work directly with various GTM teams (lifecycle, performance marketing, brand & product marketing) to execute high-impact campaigns, experiments, and projects
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing analysts, setting standards for analytical rigor, documentation, and stakeholder communication
Identify opportunities for optimization and revenue growth through analysis of funnel, customer performance data, and experiments
Own, iterate, and improve upon multi-touch attribution models and channel lift-testing
Define, govern, and socialize marketing metrics and KPIs (such as CAC, LTV, and payback period) ensuring consistent interpretation across teams
Partner with Data Platform and peer Analytics teams to implement best-in-class analytical frameworks and testing structures
Leverage AI tools and automation to scale analysis and focus on high-impact initiatives
Serve as a senior thought partner to go-to-market leadership and represent Marketing Analytics in company-wide data strategy discussions
You’re a great fit if you:
Have 7+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, with 3+ years in marketing analytics or science, ideally at a SaaS company
Have 1+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team of analysts, including mentorship, project prioritization, and performance development
Demonstrate use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate analysis, build automations, or improve workflow efficiency
Have a strong perspective on the marketing experimentation lifecycle (hypothesis generation, experimental design, implementation, statistical analysis, A/B testing best practices)
Possess strong working knowledge of statistics (regression, conversion rate modeling, A/B testing, media mix modeling, etc.)
Are proficient in SQL and Python
Have experience with data visualization tools such as Hex, Looker, Tableau (preferred)
Are familiar with CRM and Martech tools like Iterable, Hubspot, Eppo (a plus)
Total Compensation The starting base salary for this role is between $190,000-$220,000 plus target equity and benefits. The base salary offered depends on skills, experience, and education.
