Business Continuity Manager A leading organisation within a regulated industry is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager to lead and strengthen its enterprise-wide resilience and crisis management capability.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will ensure the organisation can continue to deliver critical services during major disruptions while meeting regulatory requirements and operational resilience expectations.
A background in a regulated environment such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, or a similar sector is highly desirable.
The role reports to the Head of Operational Resilience.
Key Responsibilities Lead the organisation's business continuity and crisis management framework.
Own and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIA), recovery strategies, testing programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design and oversee an annual business continuity and crisis testing programme, including scenario-based and executive-level exercises.
Collaborate closely with Technology and IT teams to ensure alignment between business recovery requirements and disaster recovery capabilities.
Provide oversight of third-party and supplier continuity arrangements, ensuring critical service providers maintain effective and regularly tested contingency plans.
Support major change initiatives and new service introductions by embedding business continuity considerations and preventing resilience gaps.
Play a key role in major incident management and crisis response activities.
Deliver clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior management and contribute to Board-level management information.
Requirements 3-5+ years' experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or a related discipline.
Experience working within complex technology environments and managing third-party service dependencies.
Previous experience within a regulated industry such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, or a similar environment is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively under pressure and during live incidents.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and executives.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g.
CBCI, MBCI, DRI, ISO 22301) would be advantageous.
