Design Build Search is seeking an MEP Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Dublin 12.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services on large-scale construction projects Working closely with project teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure all MEP works are planned, installed, tested and commissioned in line with project requirements, programme milestones and quality standards.
Responsibilities Manage and coordinate MEP activities from design development through to project completion and handover Collaborate with design consultants, project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of MEP packages Review technical submissions, drawings and specifications to verify compliance with project requirements.
Monitor the flow of information between design teams and specialist contractors, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Attend and lead MEP coordination meetings, providing updates on progress, risks and actions.
Oversee installation works on site, ensuring quality standards and approved designs are maintained.
Identify and resolve design clashes, technical issues and inconsistencies between drawings and specifications.
Track project progress and provide regular reports to the wider project team.
Support testing, commissioning and validation activities to ensure systems perform as intended.
Promote and maintain compliance with all site health and safety procedures.
Assist with client demonstrations, inspections and project handover activities.
Coordinate the preparation of completion documentation, including safety file and BCAR submissions.
Experience Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Proven experience in an MEP coordination or building services role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems and construction processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work within BIM environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other construction-related software platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational and planning abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and meet critical deadlines. xyswxtq
