Paint of WNY is seeking an experienced Masonry Project Manager / Estimator to oversee masonry projects from bid through completion. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong estimating skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Responsibilities- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs for brick, block, stone, restoration, and related masonry work
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and proposals
- Participate in bid reviews and contract negotiations
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and vendors
- 5+ years of masonry construction experience
- Previous estimating and/or project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of masonry construction methods, materials, and restoration techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and cost control
- Valid driver's license
