AnIntermediate level Quantity Surveyoris required to join a top Build Contractor inWaterford.This client has a large pipeline of work and has a proven track record across a diverse range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Conservation, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Fitout, Leisure & Sport and Pharma.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within the construction industry in an exciting, growing firm.
Role: These include but are not limited to: Procurement, appointment and management of subcontractors & suppliers through to final account Produce accurate progress accounts Preparation and assessment of interim and final valuations for progress payments Monitor and report on project costs Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns Assist the pre-construction team in the delivery of tenders Stay updated on industry innovations, regulations etc Requirements: Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum 3-4 years relevant Irish experience ideally with a main contractor Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience in Buildsoft / Cubit / Bluebeam preferred Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to build productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Strong attention to detail and excellent measurement knowledge Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while working to tight deadlines, managing time effectively Ability to take initiative and work both individually and as a strong team player Salary Salary circa €55k-€65k DOE Great benefits package Brilliant working conditions with a progressive company If you are aQuantity Surveyorconsidering a career move, please feel free to send yourCV or contact Nathan Williams on for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent. xyswxtq
