What You'll Do Your role is to support the Sales Excellence Analytics Lead as part of a team that is the key insights & capabilities partner to our General Managers and commercial functions, providing the central analytical backbone for Commercial and Customer Excellence. You will use your analytical skills and commercial acumen: both leveraging bespoke analytics to influence stakeholders in business decision making and providing key analytical deliverables to improve selling efficiency for country team. You will interact closely with the International commercial team – a team made up of individuals across various functions (including finance, sales, marketing and R&D) covering countries including France, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Australia, China and the UK. Responsibilities
Work closely with the General Managers and multilevel Commercial managers to provide insight into drivers of sales performance and opportunities for improvement:
Design and implement bespoke analyses, which might be one-offs or could become regular deliverables Demonstrate bold curiosity by proactively identifying potential questions and potential continuous improvement areas for the commercial teams
Provide country teams with key regular deliverables:
Participate in discussions with Region and/or country stakeholders, usually together with the Sales Excellence Analytics Lead and/or Director of BI and Sales Excellence Analytics Participate in analysis design discussions Design QA/QC approach to ensure reliability of outputs Create the first run (templates, analysis files, output files etc.) Iterate files based on learnings from first run Participate in process design discussions to increase the timeliness and quality of data and business rule inputs from countries Assess opportunities to automate or outsource deliverable production once relatively stable Manage external vendors
Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to develop business cases and model scenarios, such as increasing promotional investments into selected countries. You will be able to measure the impact of the propositions implemented Provide occasional support to countries in different time zones (e.g. Canada and Australia) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives Ad hoc projects and assignments
What We Need
Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business, Finance or similar, or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience, ideally two of which in consulting or equivalent experience At least 3 months of experience required in at least one quantitative area of Sales Excellence (e.g. Segmentation & Targeting, Incentive Compensation, Resource Allocation) At least 2 years' experience in Life Sciences (Medical Device/Pharmaceuticals), with exposure to non-US markets and data, strongly preferred

Strong analytical skills enabling you to answer bespoke questions by designing analyses and interpreting the results Process design and continuous improvement mindset High attention to detail and a mindset of consistently delivering error-free work by fixed deadlines Commercial acumen Listening skills to understand business priorities and country specificities, and the ability to incorporate those learnings in your work Strong communication skills as you will interact with internal stakeholders around the globe, senior leadership as well as external consultants Self-starter, self-disciplined and target focused but able to work in a team environment Able to demonstrate drive, passion, and flexibility Possess integrity and honesty Eager to learn, develop and grow Ideally, financial acumen (basic P&L understanding an upside but not mandatory)

Systems
Proven strong Excel skills - in this case the ability to design and implement complex Excel files, to design and execute quality assurance/quality checking controls and to resolve most issues independently Strong PowerPoint skills an upside but not mandatory Power BI an upside but not mandatory Experience of CRM systems, especially Salesforce.com, an upside but not mandatory
