Le poste de spécialiste des ventes directes de GE Vernova (GEV) - Services est un poste en contact direct avec la clientèle, chargé de cultiver de nouvelles opportunités avec les clients existants et de générer des affaires avec de nouveaux clients. Vous travaillerez avec des spécialistes produits, des responsables de comptes clés pour créer et développer la stratégie de croissance et le plan de compte commercial pour les opportunités de service dans la région l’est du Canada (Ontario jusqu’aux Maritimes).
Principales responsabilités
- Prospecter et sélectionner de nouvelles pistes de vente sur des segments de marché cibles tels que le marché des utilités électriques, des énergies renouvelables et le marché des industriels grands demandeurs d’énergie, afin de développer de nouvelles pistes commerciales.
- Convertir les opportunités existantes et développer de nouvelles opportunités sur la base installée de GEV grâce à des campagnes commerciales définies par l'équipe de développement commercial.
- Servir d'intermédiaire pour une compréhension détaillée du modèle économique du client et de la manière dont les produits et services de GEV apportent une valeur ajoutée aux clients.
- Adapter le matériel de vente sur l'offre de services pour des segments et des clients spécifiques.
- Programmer et réaliser des présentations de vente aux clients potentiels.
- Gérer les relations avec la communauté de représentants commerciaux et les responsables de comptes clés pour coordonner les efforts de vente.
- Suivre toutes les activités de vente dans le système GRC (gestion de la relation client) de l'entreprise et les maintenir à jour en actualisant régulièrement les informations sur les opportunités.
- Mener une stratégie et un processus de proposition gagnants, depuis l’appel d’offre jusqu’à la commande.
- Examiner les propositions et les coûts, tels que préparés par l'équipe d'appel d'offres, pour s'assurer que la proposition de valeur ajoutée est présentée au client et que le prix est conforme aux attentes du client et au prix du marché.
- Développer de nouveaux contacts et de nouvelles opportunités en organisant des webinaires clients et en utilisant les médias sociaux pour accroître l'empreinte numérique de GEV Services.
- Atteindre et/ou dépasser les objectifs de prise de commandes commerciales fixés pour l'Est du Canada.
Qualifications requises
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou expérience du marché industriel/ de la génération, transmission et distribution d’électricité/des énergies renouvelables.
- Minimum 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de vente directe, de développement des affaires ou commercial.
- Capacité et volonté de voyager à environ 20 % du temps, selon les besoins.
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
Caractéristiques désirées
- Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles, y compris la capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations avec un éventail de parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et à la présentation avec différents niveaux de gestion, de direction, d'ingénierie et d'exploitation.

Direct Sales Specialist
Summary
The Direct Sales Specialist position with GE Vernova (GEV) Services is a customer facing position responsible for cultivating new opportunities with existing customers and generating business with new customers. You will work with product specialists, Key Account Managers to create and develop the growth strategy and commercial account plan for Service opportunities within the Eastern Canada region (from Ontario to the Maritimes)
Main Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads on target market segments such as electric utilities, large industrials and renewable market, to develop new business leads.
- Convert existing leads and develop new leads on GEV Installed Base thru commercial campaigns defined by the Business Development Team.
- Serve as a conduit for detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GEV’s products and services deliver added value to the customer
- Adapt selling material on service offering for specific segments and customers. Schedule and deliver sales pitch to prospects customers.
- Manage the relationship with the channel partners community and Key Account Managers to coordinate sales efforts.
- Track all sales activities in company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and keep current by updating opportunity information regularly
- Drive winning proposal strategy and process from request (RFQ) thru proposal and order.
- Review proposals and costing, as prepared by the Tendering Team, to ensure the key value proposition is presented to the customer and the pricing is in line with customer expectations and market price.
- Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
- Develop new contacts and opportunities by hosting virtual customer webinars specific to each market segment by utilizing social media to increase the digital footprint of GEV Services.
- Meet and/or exceed commercial order intake targets set for Eastern Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or industrial/electric transmission, distribution or generation/renewable market experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a direct sale, business development or commercial role
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time as required
- Fluent in both French and English
Desired Characteristics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong communication, and presentation skills with different levels of management, executive, engineering and operations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical / utility industry
- Proven experience in a services, sales and marketing roles with multi-million-dollar budgets & performance-based Service contracts
- Proven ability to negotiate successful outcomes with customers
- Demonstrated abilities to research and analyze data in order to develop strategic and local sales opportunities and budgets
