FunctieAls Operations Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing, coördinatie en continue verbetering van onze verpakkingsprocessen. Je streeft naar optimale efficiëntie en kwaliteit, met maximale aandacht voor veiligheid en teamontwikkeling.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:
Productie & Proces
- Opstellen en bijsturen van een efficiënte verpakkingsplanning om klantbestellingen tijdig te realiseren;
- Continu bewaken en optimaliseren van productieprocessen;
- Initiëren en implementeren van verbeterprojecten (Lean, 5S, SMED);
- Ontwikkelen van duidelijke werkinstructies en standaardprocedures;
- Opmaken en opvolgen van het afdelingsbudget, inclusief kostenanalyses en optimalisatievoorstellen.
Aansturing & People Management
- Aansturen en coachen van de Assistent Operations Manager en Shiftleaders;
- Indirect leidinggeven aan een team van ca. 150 operatoren en heftruckchauffeurs;
- Opleidingstrajecten opzetten en opvolgen voor alle teamleden;
- Uitvoeren van selectie-, functionerings- en evaluatiegesprekken.
Kwaliteit, veiligheid & Communicatie
- Actieve handhaving van veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en milieunormen (HACCP, 5S);
- Organiseren van teamoverleggen en deelname aan projectgroepen;
- Bevorderen van vlotte communicatie tussen de verpakkingsafdeling en andere departementen;
- Rapporteren van KPI’s aan de Operations Director.
Voor de functie van Operations Manager zijn wij op zoek naar onderstaand profiel
- Je hebt een universitaire opleiding afgerond in een relevant vakgebied of kan dit gelijkstellen door ervaring
- Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen een productieomgeving
- Kennis van Lean, 5S, HACCP en SMED is een pluspunt
- Je kan een team aansturen en motiveren om samen de vooropgestelde doelen te behalen
- Je hebt uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, bent bereikbaar en kan op een constructieve manier samenwerken met andere afdelingen
- Je hebt een proactieve houding en het vermogen om verbetermaatregelen door te voeren
- Je kan systematisch relevante informatie verzamelen en gegevens analyseren
- Je bent in staat om verschillende perspectieven en alternatieven te overwegen bij het oplossen van problemen
