Product Data Analyst III Location: San Diego, CA (On‑site / Hybrid aligned with business needs) Job Overview Reporting to the Business Process Excellence (BPE) organization, the Product Data Analyst III is responsible for managing Bioscience master data and processes. The role focuses on IT data transition and integration activities, working closely with Operations, Data Integration, and New Product Development teams to achieve data integration goals, create master data for new product releases, and support SAP master data functions. Key Responsibilities Execute end‑to‑end data integration activities, including SAP data extraction, load, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accurate and complete master data. Maintain the integrity of SAP ECC/SCM master data and other systems such as Halfpipe/PLM, and resolve issues with business process teams. Participate in Master Data and Enterprise Data Governance teams to ensure consistency of master data initiatives across the Biosciences business. Provide training to associates on SAP transactions, software applications, and documentation procedures. Develop and communicate metrics, workflow tools, and reports to support continuous improvement of master data accuracy. Lead the master data services team transition plan, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity. Conduct regular system checks to identify master data issues (e.g., incorrect material setup, BOMs, routings) and coordinate corrective actions with coordinators and SMEs. Maintain KPIs and dashboards of master data issues and report ongoing progress. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline. Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience using SAP, preferably 5+ years with project management and 3–5 years in a medical, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment. Experience with end‑to‑end product development, data integration projects, or NPI processes. Strong knowledge of SAP master data, material number assignment, and related SAP transactions (e.g., work orders, POs, inventory movements). Familiarity with new product introduction processes and SAP data requirements. Experience with reporting tools such as SAP BI and Power BI, and ability to extract diverse data reports. Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP, ISO 9000), and new product introduction processes. Experience with data automation tools (e.g., Innowera, Winshuttle) and familiarity with Halfpipe/PLM is preferred.
