13 weeks with option to extend EMR: EPIC Schedule: 5x8's Monday - Friday No On Call Additional Details about the position
Will see more than just ortho cases OR Setup: Review surgeon preference cards, check case carts, and gather necessary equipment and supplies. Sterilization: Ensure all instruments are sterile and functional. Sterile Field: Perform the surgical scrub, don gown and gloves, and arrange instruments on the Mayo stand and back table. Counts: Perform initial counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments with the circulator. Patient Prep: Assist in transferring, positioning, and prepping (cleaning/disinfecting) the patient. Draping: Assist the team in draping the patient to establish a sterile field. Intraoperative Procedures Anticipation: Anticipate the surgeon's needs, passing instruments quickly and efficiently. Maintaining Sterility: Monitor the sterile field constantly to prevent contamination. Specimens: Receive, handle, and label surgical specimens. Medications: Prepare and pass medications, hemostatic agents, and irrigation solutions. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Need ortho experience Experience working Knees & Shoulders cases 2 Years relevant experience CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
