Job Description

We are looking for aCase Review Analyst to review cases completed by case workers, determining benefit eligibility, document errors, and provide detailed feedback regarding cases. This position is a full-time, long-termopportunity that isonsiteinNewark, DE.

What You’ll Do

• Strong working knowledge of Federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policy related to how the public assistance programs are administered by the Division of Social Services

• Investigate and document constituent complaints

• Identify fraud or abuse in the public assistance programs, and know how to report it appropriately

• Review cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibility

• Document errors and provide detailed feedback regarding cases

• Provide details regarding training opportunities based on error trends to management

• Maintain confidentiality in all situations

• Communicate with clients regarding their case as necessary

• Provide answers to questions from Case Workers regarding cases at hand

• Any further duties assigned by management

What You’ll Need

Required:

• Minimum of one yearcase managementor processing programs of assistance for State government experience

• Minimum of one year determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, or related experience

• Microsoft Office Suite

• Data Entryexperience

• Attention to Detail

• Outstandingorganizational skills

• Goodanalytical skills

• Strong written andverbal communicationskills

• Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Solidinterpersonal skills, ability to work on a team

• Ability to drive work to completion and escalate when necessary

• Transportation to/from office, dependable and on time

• Be available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month if necessary

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
