With over 100 healthcare professionals and three decades of experience delivering accessible and affordable care to low income and high-risk residents, this FQHC invites the best healthcare professionals to build their careers with us.The Psychiatrist will assess patients, diagnose or rule out mental disorders, prescribe treatments, and conduct follow-up appointments to monitor progress. The role includes providing behavioral health treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and collaborating with other professionals to optimize patient care. Position Details

Completion of a Psychiatric Residency or Family Medicine/Psychiatry Residency in an ACGME-approved program Valid NY State medical license (MD or DO) Valid NY DEA certificate BLS certification Minimum 2 years full-time experience in child/adult psychiatry Willingness to work with children is a plus Board of Psychiatry certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Superior listening ability and emotional intelligence Expert diagnostic skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members Eligible to work in the U.S. Community Details
