The Opportunity
We are working with companies in Wyoming that are adding Engineering Managers to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
- Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, set timelines, and manage resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, optimize expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion, on time and within budget.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, quality, production).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
