Als Medior Backend Developer ontwikkel je slimme tools voor media die dagelijks door miljoenen mensen worden gebruikt. Je werkt aan softwareoplossingen voor contentverwerking, streamingdiensten en redactietools, van geautomatiseerde workflows tot veilige distributieplatforms. Denk aan applicaties voor onder andere NPO Start, Pathé Thuis en interne tools die mediaproductie efficiënter maken.
Je bouwt nieuwe features, verbetert bestaande code en werkt mee aan het borgen van de veiligheid en stabiliteit van onze applicaties. Dit doe je samen met senior developers binnen een microservicesarchitectuur, waarin PHP en Go centraal staan. Je stemt af met senior developers, support engineers en applicatiebeheerders, soms direct, soms via de product owner.
In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de senior developers. De senior bepaalt de technische richting, maar haalt actief jouw input op. Jij denkt mee, stelt vragen, brengt kennis in en groeit stap voor stap richting meer zelfstandigheid. Je krijgt ruimte om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen binnen jouw scope en om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen op technisch en architecturaal vlak.

Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring met backend development;
Je hebt goede ervaring met PHP;
Je bent bekend met de meeste design patterns óf hebt de ambitie je hier verder in te verdiepen;
Je werkt graag samen en durft terug te vallen op senior collega’s wanneer nodig;
Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en kunt je redden in het Engels;
