American GroundPro is hiring a full-time Sales & Marketing Assistant to support business development, lead generation, client retention, and administrative sales operations.
This role blends outbound prospecting, CRM management, past-client reactivation, and sales support. You’ll help generate new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and support the sales pipeline from first contact through follow-up.
Industries we serve include landscaping, construction, municipalities, HOAs, CDDs, and property management.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research and build prospect lists using LinkedIn, Google, and industry databases
Identify decision-makers (property managers, CAMs, facility managers, landscapers, municipalities)
Conduct cold outreach via phone and email
Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
Past Client Reactivation & Retention
Proactively reach out to past clients to identify: Redo opportunities (mulch refreshes, enhancements, seasonal work)
Recurring or retentive maintenance needs
New properties under management
Maintain organized follow-up schedules for annual and seasonal services
Support reactivation campaigns and relationship touchpoints
Document insights and opportunities in the CRM
CRM & Sales Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records (Pipedrive)
Track outreach, notes, and lead stages
Enter approved estimates into company systems
Assist with invoice entry and documentation
Provide weekly reporting on activities and pipeline health
Customer Experience
Send post-project customer satisfaction surveys
Track and summarize client feedback
Support customer appreciation and retention initiatives
Assist with professional follow-up communications
Marketing Support
Website management, WordPress experience a plus
SEO
Google ads & digital advertising
Social media management
Content creation
Email marketing
Sales & Business Development Support
Analytics & reporting
Brand Management
Events & Trade Shows
Qualifications Required
Strong organization and attention to detail
Professional phone and email communication skills
Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-up
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Microsoft Office Suite
CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Social media management platforms
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Basic photography and video editing skills
Background in landscaping, construction, real estate, or property management (a plus)
