or
PB Claims Certification Required . Epic Build experience required.
Each candidate must complete the Epic Sphinx test as part of the consideration process.

About The Job
Epic Professional Billing with PB Admin or PB Claims Certification Required. If an applicant has only one of these credentials, they may be required to obtain the additional certification/proficiency within their first six months in the role.
Epic Build experience required.
Our job families include Epic Application Analyst positions in levels 1‑4. The final position will be determined by a variety of factors applied to the selected candidate, including demonstrated experience, Epic training status portfolio, and an assessment of cultural norms.
Responsibilities
Implement, develop, and maintain Epic systems and associated third‑party systems. Provide on‑call support, interact with clients, and ensure compliance with software lifecycle standards.
Mentor junior analysts and lead projects to improve patient safety and quality initiatives.
Conduct System Build and Configuration: research and configure systems to improve processes, add efficiencies, and promote patient safety.
Apply heuristic design principles to use and benefit of healthcare systems, leveraging clinical and business knowledge to inform workflow, system design, and user support.
Embrace change positively, seek process improvements, and demonstrate innovative thinking.
Take responsibility for actions, correct mistakes, and adhere to service excellence standards.
Build partnerships with stakeholders, end users, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support.
Apply knowledge of the systems development life cycle to develop, test, deploy, and evaluate maintenance needs.
Manage projects effectively, following project management principles.
Create and maintain thorough documentation, develop test scripts, and ensure builds meet departmental standards and obtain end‑user approval.
General schedule Monday‑Friday, Eastern time business hours with some flexibility; participate in on‑call rotation and cover special events or staffing needs outside regular hours.
Work remotely in an appropriate virtual home office environment, using standard office equipment. Travel occasionally for Go‑Live installations or training.
Required Qualifications
4‑year Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Training or demonstrated aptitude in analytical abilities required as appropriate for the role.
Experience as an analyst implementing and testing vendor‑packaged software applications or healthcare operational experience in the area of application preferred or required depending on analyst level.
All analyst levels require prior Epic experience (end‑user or analyst). For levels 2‑4, current Epic training status (certification, accreditation, or proficiency) in the primary application is required, with additional statuses in maintenance and development for upper levels.
Ideal candidates possess strong experience as analysts with expert knowledge of system analysis, project management, and business process reengineering related to information systems, particularly in a healthcare setting. Active vendor training status required.
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
Must be able to complete work through continuous use of a computer.
Must communicate frequently and effectively with others verbally, in writing, and via virtual meetings (including camera).
